[News] 4TB Western Digital Desktop Hard Drive Available Now

WD releases 4TB desktop hard drive
Yesterday, Western Digital announced a new, larger spaced capacity of 4TB to be available on its high performance WD Black desktop drive.
Vice president of WD's client storage group, Matt Rutledge, said, "In choosing WD Black hard drives, WD desktop customers get the best possible mix of capacity, performance and reliability to handle intense desktop computing with ease."

The new WD Black drive (WD4001FAEX) is a 3.5 inch, with 7200 RPM SATA 6Gbps to suit gaming, high-performance desktop systems and workstations, thanks to their large 64MB buffer and a range of technologies implemented by WD to increase performance and reduce noise and vibration.

The WD Black 4TB is available to purchase now in New Zealand, at a RRP: $659. They come with a generous 5-year warranty.
