[CES2013] [News] Samsung shows off world's first OLED curved TV

Starting to get bored of those "flat-panel" TV screens? Then here's something to ponder about! Samsung has just unveiled their (first of its kind) curved OLED TV, that is curved! (obviously!)
This TV was not mentioned in its press conference two days before, but it was stated in December that Samsung would be showing off a 55-inch bendable TV at CES 2013.
According to Samsung, they claim that it offers a better viewing experience, and that the panoramic display gives a true sense to your surrounding environment, especially when viewing vast landscapes and sceneries.

People sitting in the center would probably get the most natural viewing angle, but what about people staring in from the angles?

This curved OLED display is just a concept and it is the first time we have ever seen this display from Samsung. LG, on the other hand, have also unveiled a curved TV concept.

We are not expecting it to go retail anytime soon or be on sale but do keep checking back for updates on this new concept!
